2016 Track & Field Signup/Athlete and Parent Team Meeting

The 2016 Track and Field Season is almost here!  If you are interested in participating in Track and Field please attend the Signup/Athlete and Parent Team Meeting at East High School on Thursday, March 10th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the East Auditorium.

AGENDA

  • Signup List – Getting your name on the list will start the process so you know what you need for eligibility and fees.

  • Team Calendar/Schedule
  • Physical on File (Grades 7-9 or 10-12)
  • Online Fee Payment
  • Online Eligibility Form (Need doctor, insurance, health info, emergency contact information a head of time)
  • Assessment Fee
  • Uniform Fee and Uniform Distribution Days
  • Duluth East Athletic Association (DEAA) and Raffle Tickets
  • Dr. James Deegan, Doctor of Podiatry Medicine, will talk about the importance of having proper shoes and what to look for when choosing them.
  • 7th and 8th Grade Participation
  • Team Captains
  • Team Expectations (attendance, clothing, behavior, communication, dedication)
  • Q&A Session
