Cambridge Meet Status

As of Thursday at 11:15 PM the Cambridge meet is still on.  An announcement will be made at East and Ordean if the meet is cancelled.  I will also update the status here as soon as I know of any changes.

So, be ready to go to our first outdoor meet!  1/8″ Spikes, bring a garbage bag to keep your backpack dry if it will be sitting on snow or the ground, bring warm clothes.  We will be stopping for food on the way back but bring something to snack on throughout the day. REMEMBER TO WARM UP PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT!  Lineup is posted under the Team Management tab.  If you are not on the meet attendance list, you will not be allowed on the bus or be excused from school.

Weekly Announcement – Cancellations & Team Management

The Bad:  No Track Meet Tuesday or Friday as shown on schedule.  Thursday’s rescheduled meet in Cambridge may be cancelled as well depending on weather/track conditions and we should know by Wednesday if we are having it or not.  Grand Rapids Meet on 4/30/13 is also CANCELLED.

THE GOOD:  Weather.com reports 72 degrees on Sunday!  We have ADDED the St. Francis Invite on Saturday May 18th so please put it on your schedule!

TEAM MANAGEMENT pages are starting to become functional and hopefully more integrated and easier to use than last year.  School Records and State Qualifing times/distances are now posted online along with Meet Lineups, Results, Letter Points, and a bunch of stats.  We only have two indoor meets so far, but check things out!

BE SURE TO REPORT YOUR MEET TIME/DISTANCE WITH THE MANAGERS AT THE FINISH LINE!  The stats are only as accurate as the information entered so if you fail to report them, they will be missing.

Run The Edge @ East SATURDAY 6pm – EVERYONE PLEASE ATTEND

ATHELETES:  Arrive at 10:00 AM on Saturday to join them in a run at East.  (bring warm clothes due to snow)
CAPTAINS/VOLUNTEERS:  Meet at 5:00 PM to get your job assignments.
ATHLETES/PARENTS/FRIENDS:  Arrive at 5:30 PM to attend this event and help represent East Track and Cross Country.
