Hermantown Meet and Section Team

The Hermantown meet is on Tuesday and it is the last open meet of the season.  Meet Registration is now open so please sign up for your events online.  Relays will be established Monday at practice.  This will be the final meet of the season for some of you so please do your best and try and end with a great performance.  We hope everyone has a great day on Tuesday!

TRANSPORTATION:  The bus will only be bringing athletes TO Hermantown.  You must arrange your own ride FROM Hermantown.  

Coaches are already figuring out the lineup for the Section Team.  There are a lot of scenarios that the coaches have to evaluate to put forth our best team and hopefully advance some athletes to State.  For those who make the Section Team, please make sure you limit other activities so you can focus on Track and not get injured.  Relays teams will need everyone there to practice hand offs at the same time so please keep your schedule free.  Only athletes on the Section Team should remain at practice.  If you did not make the Section Team, please watch the website for team announcements for news and information regarding the Team Banquet.

St. Francis Meet Lineup for Saturday

Coaches are working on the lineup for St. Francis’s meet on Saturday.  The lineup is due Thursday so we need to have our lineup ready on Wednesday. Please let us know if you are not able to attend the meet on Saturday because we are trying to bring as many people as possible and if you don’t show up, you prevented someone else from going.  Please remember to bring any travel release forms if you will not be taking the bus.

Ordean-East Track Meet Workers

UPDATE:  I believe we have enough workers to help out at the meet.  Thank you for helping support Track and Field!

The Ordean-East Middle School Track Team is hosting a meet at East on Tuesday.  If you are not going to the True Team Meet in Cambridge please attend the track meet to help.  East and Ordean-East each offers help for our meets and we are short in workers for tomorrow.  Please e-mail Coach Kinsey at nathan.kinsey@isd709.org if you are able to help.

Track Team Spaghetti Dinner Thursday

If you would like to attend the Track Team Spaghetti Dinner on Thrusday  5/7 please sign up with the Team Managers at practice.  There is also a signup sheet to bring food and other items.  Parent volunteers to help set up is also appreciated.  Food can be dropped off at 5pm and and the dinner is at 5pm at East.

Esko Track Meet Transportation

Transportation will be provided for the meet in Esko on Saturday.  The bus will leave East at 8:00am.  If you will be leaving the meet early with your parents, a completed and signed Travel Release Form needs to be submitted prior to the meet.  Please refer to the Transportation section of the website for more specific info and to download the form.
