We were able to secure an additional meet for this season at Denfeld on Tuesday, 5/3/16. It falls on the same day as the Grand Rapids Old River meet but it will allow those who did not make it to that limited entry meet to participate in the Denfeld meet.
The meet will be available to sign up for individual events online as well as at practice. If you want to get a relay team together find four teammates and let Coach Kinsey know.
ATHLETES: Individual event online signups will be closing at 9:00pm Thursday 4/28/16. If you have not signed up for this meet, please do so online or at practice before that deadline. Only those entered into the meet are excused early from school.
Meet starts at 4:00pm, excused from school at 3:00pm. If you need to remain in school until the normal time, that is fine. Be dressed and ready to go for the meet. Coaches will be working events so we may not be available at all times so be prepared.
Tuesday’s meet at Proctor 4/26/16 has been cancelled. There will be practice as normal.
Duluth East is hosting a track meet next Friday 4/29/16 and we need help running events. At smaller meets the coaches run events and with only 3 schools in this meet and a limited number of coaches it makes it difficult to run the meet and coach our athletes. The lineup for Friday’s meet at Cambridge is posted. Dismissed at 12:15pm and the bus leaves promptly at 12:30pm. Be in your uniform before you get on the bus. Only those entered into the meet will be excused from school. If you plan to leave the meet early with your parents, a signed Travel Release Form must be turned in prior to the meet. We expect to be back to East between 11:30pm and Midnight.
