CSS Indoor Meet Information 3-23-19

Our first meet is at the College of St. Scholastica.  The meet starts at 11:00am so arrive soon after that.  Please do not arrive before 10:00am at the request of the site.  There are only 5 schools this year so we expect the meet to be done around 4pm.  Please see the Meet Info Sheet for the order of events, special instructions,  a map of where the building is and where to park.

The meet lineup is still being worked on but will be available at the meet.  Everyone should have been told or signed up at practice so you should have an idea of what you are doing but check the sheet when you get to the meet.  You can also check the lineup ONLINE by going to the Team Management Tab above and then choosing Meet Lineups/Results.

We can only have 1 (one) relay team per school/gender so we may have to adjust the relay and fill individual events as we were planning on having multiple so that is a change from what we said at practice.

If this is your first ever track meet with Duluth East, please make sure to check out the Information/Resources tab and click on Track Meets.  It will have the standard order of events (outdoors) and what you need to do and bring at the meet.  Please talk to a captain or a coach if you are unsure of what to do while at the meet.

Congratulations on completing the first week of track practice!  Please be sure to complete the eligibility requirements by the due date of Monday 3/18/19.  If you are still thinking about joining the team, you have until Thursday’s practice to decide and become eligible.  Our final roster of everyone who is eligible will be submitted to the MSHSL (Minnesota State High School League) at the end of practice on Thursday, 3/ 21/19, and Duluth East will officially have our 2018-19 Track & Field Team. If you are not eligible by that date, please consider joining the team next year.  If you have any questions about eligibility, please let us know ASAP so we can help you as best we can.

If you missed the sign up meeting…

The first Track and Field practice is Monday, March 11th, in the East Gym at 3:40pm.  Come dressed to work out inside and/or outside depending on conditions.   If you did not sign up at the team meeting, please sign up on the sheet at practice so we can get you on the eligibility list to get on the team.

You must have a physical on file with the school as the policy is NO PHYSICAL=NO PRACTICE with physical activity.  You can check online via the Infinite Campus Portal and the Activities Department Tab.  If you have questions, please contact a head coach.
