Hermantown Bus Clarification

The School District does not provide transportation to local events at Hermantown, Superior, Proctor, Denfeld, etc.  It is the parent’s responsibility to arrange travel arrangements to these locations.

However, East Track provides 1 School Bus (51 Passengers) to meets at these locations.  This is funded via the Track Assessment Fee.  Space will be limited to please use the bus as a last resort.

Athletes competing in today’s meet via the posted lineup are dismissed at 2:30pm.  The bus leaves East at 2:45pm.  ORDEAN-EAST STUDENTS:  We notified the bus company to stop at Ordean-East at 2:30pm first before going to East.  IF the bus driver did not get that information, then we will stop at Ordean-East on the way to Hermantown around 2:50pm.

Hermantown Open Meet Closing and Other Info

The Hermantown Bus will stop at Ordean-East first and leave at 2:25pm so please excuse yourself with enough time to make the bus.  The bus will leave East at 2:45pm and you are dismissed at 2:30pm.

The open meet entry will close at 10:30pm Monday so final changes and lineups can be made by coaches.  Email nathan.kinsey@isd709.org with your events and I will add them in there for you.

If you did not sign up for an event but it lists you for that event, a coach put you in that event so be sure to complete that event so we can get a time/distance.  Relays need 4 people so if your relay team needs more, find a teammate!

Some people signed up for events at practice but they are not eligible.  If you try to sign up online and your name is not listed or you are missing from the list, then you are not eligible.  You will not be excused from school and cannot compete in the meet.

Hermantown Open Meet ONLINE SignUps

ATHLETES:  Help your coaches out by signing up for Hermantown’s Track meet ONLINE.
Go to the TEAM MANAGEMENT tab and click on Open Meet Lineup Registration and follow the directions.

NOTE:  Check the events you are already signed up for.  Your coach may put you into an event that you did not sign up for.  Examples are needing a 4th person to complete a relay or that we need a time in an open event to make some decisions for later.  If you are entered into the lineup for an event, you compete in that event unless you talk with coach prior to the meet.

Packy Meet Info and Instructions

There is NO BUS to UWS so please arrange your rides to and from the meet.  Be at UWS at 3:00pm.

THERE IS NO PARKING ALLOWED IN THE  WITC CONFERENCE CENTER OR STUDENT  PARKING LOTS.  They are not affiliated with UWS and will ticket or tow – You can park in  the UWS lots shown on the map after 3:30pm. You can also park on Catlin Avenue or  Mortorelli Drive. You will be ticketed if parked in any areas not marked for parking.

Packy Lineup Posted

The Friday 4/10 Packy Paquette Lineup is posted.  After Wednesday at 7pm, these entries cannot be changed.  If you see any issues, please e-mail nathan.kinsey@isd709.org ASAP.  If you see any open spots and you can attend, please let us know and we can see if we can get you into the meet.
