eSteve Kerzie Invite – Girls and Boys Teams BOTH get 1st Place!

CONGRATULATIONS EAST TRACK!  The girls placed 1st and the boys also placed 1st!  It was AWESOME watching everyone out there do their best and working as a team!  Lots of personal bests today!  WELL DONE!

Results are posted.  Metals and Ribbons will be presented next week at practice.

Girls Team Points:  157 with GNK at 129 in 2nd place.
Boys Team Points:  123.5 with Hibbing at 116.5 in 2nd place.

Updates!

Results from Tuesday’s PSS Meet is posted.  If you notice a missing time, please let Coach Kinsey know.  Great job to the GIRLS for winning their first meet this year!  The girls won the Steve Kerzie meet last year, lets go for 2 wins in row!

Practice is at Central for Sprinters and Field Events for Thursday.

Track Meet at Virginia on Friday – Steve Kerzie Invite – Lineup is still being worked on, but check it out to see what is currently posted.  It is a limited entry meet but some areas do have openings.  If you see one, ask a Coach!

 

“Run for Change” 5k Run/Walk – Wednesday, May 2

There will be NO PRACTICE on Wednesday, May 2nd to provide everyone an opportunity to participate in the “Run for Change” 5k Run/Walk at Denfeld at 4:30pm.  Please see Captain Lauren Elwell for more information and Registration Forms.  Coach Kinsey will also have some forms if needed.

Denfeld PSS Meet & Lineup

LINEUP IS POSTED!  There were some changes from what you may have requested, so please look over the entire list and pay attention to the number of events you are in.  If you are BELOW 2, try and and get into 1 more event.

DISMISSED At 2:45pm, ARRIVE at 3:15 PM for TEAM WARMUP and STRETCHING.  DON’T BE LATE!

Remember, No bus to PSS so please make travel arrangements to and from the meet.  Carpool!

Monday Practice – Tuesday’s Meet at PSS

Monday practice is at CENTRAL for Sprinters/Field Events and at EAST for Distance.

YOU MUST BE AT PRACTICE THE DAY BEFORE A MEET TO SIGN UP AND CONFIRM YOU WILL BE AT THE MEET.  If you do not sign up for events on Monday, you are not excused to go to the meet and you will not participate unless cleared by a coach before the lineup is posted.  Coaches will have sign up sheets and will be taking requests and submitting the final linup tonight.  OPEN MEET EVENT REQUESTS are CLOSED for this meet.  This is an unlimited entry meet with up to 3 relays so everyone will compete, as long as you attend practice today.

LISTEN TO YOUR CAPTAINS!  Captains are an extension of the coaching staff so take them seriously.  When they start warm up routines and give instructions follow their instructions immediately.
